The Moose Jaw Cultural Centre opened in April 2004. The facility is owned by the City of Moose Jaw but is operated by Moose Jaw Cultural Centre Inc., a non-profit board of Directors which operates at arm’s length from the City of Moose Jaw. Moose Jaw Cultural Centre Inc. is responsible for the operation, management and programming of the facility.
The facility includes: The Conexus Arts Centre, the Mae Wilson Theatre, meeting rooms, studios, artist in residence area, pottery room, dressing rooms and support facilities to host a variety of performers and artistic workshops.
The Conexus Arts Centre displays a broad range of visual art and craft exhibits produced by Moose Jaw and Moose Jaw region artists.
The Mae Wilson Theatre is a 420 performing arts theatre which hosts a variety of performances on an annual basis. The building was originally built in 1916 and was renovated during construction with some of the original plaster and features of the original theatre being restored. Past performances include: theatre, music, comedy, dance, and magic shows.
