City Manager's Message |

The City of Moose Jaw provides a wide array of programs and services to the community
which contribute to the quality of life in our city. Those programs and services are delivered
through seven City departments: Engineering, Parks and Recreation, Fire, Finance,
City Clerks/Solicitors, Personnel and Transit. The City also provides funding to affiliated
community services such as the Moose Jaw Public Library, Moose Jaw Art Museum and
Moose Jaw Police Service although those agencies do not report to the City Manager.
The City is committed to the effective and efficient delivery of its programs and services. We strive to provide cost effective services for your tax dollar. Our staff are dedicated to properly carrying out their jobs and they are a huge asset to the Corporation. Cost pressures are an ongoing challenge, particularly combined with reduced operating budget assistance from the provincial government. We take our fiscal stewardship responsibilities seriously in delivering cost effective and efficient services. Our goal is to provide municipal services within our financial resource restrictions to enhance the community's standard of living.
