Boat Operator Accredited Training (BOAT)
Federal boat safety regulations require all boat operators to hold a Pleasure Craft Operator card (PCO card). The Boat Operator Accredited training program (B.O.A.T) is being offered around the country to help prevent water related accidents. This course is offered to help boaters understand the general rules, regulations and standards for operating a powerboat. After completing the course and passing the exam you will receive a PCO card. Boaters who are required to possess their PCO card are:
- Any person operating a power driven vessel under 4m in length
- After September 2009, any person operating any power driven vessel of any length.

9:00 - 10:15 am at the Kinsmen Sportsplex.
The cost is $50.00
Caravan pick-up locations are Pioneer Lodge, Rosewood, Temple Tower, Timothy Eaton & Victoria Towers.
Enjoy the benefits of the Sportsplex. Participants will be picked up for a great pool program which includes low impact aqua fit, hot tub and social fun. A great way to stay active! . Participants Do Not need to know how to swim to enjoy this program.
